Item: 1 number (ONE badge supplied of) High Quality Modern Reproduction Enamel badge (with epoxy seal). WSPU (Women's Social and Political Union- The British Suffragettes organisation known as Women's Social and Political Union, headed by Mrs Emmeline (Emily) Pankhurst.
A collectable modern limited edition replica of an original WSPU badge.
Size: 25mm (1 inch) diameter: Circular shape.
Materials: Enamelled colours, in a hard enamel type finish. Gold plated back and gold-plated butterfly clutch pin to rear for easy, safe and hardy affixing to garments etc. Comes individually contained within small poly-bag.
Condition: Mint condition.New, modern reproduction badge.
Description: This design features a woman scattering the seeds of woman suffrage as utilised by the WSPU at the time, on varying items during the era of their existence including badges, pamphlets & publications, calling cards and soap packets!
As can be seen the badge features, very prominently, the colours of the Woman Suffrage movement- Purple, Green and White.
The writing around the circumference of the badge reads (at top) ' Votes For Women' (at bottom) 'Women's Social and Political Union'
Please note that the badge itself is crystal clear and does NOT suffer from the pixelation/degradation that the photo's do.
