Name: Votes for Women: (Reproductions) 3 button badges
Name: WSPU/AFL/WSPU Angel Badges
Item: 3 number (ONE badge of EACH design seen, will be supplied ) Women's suffrage badges: High quality modern reproduction button badges.
Size: Each are 25mm diameter: Circular shaped.
Materials: Nickel plated badge, with METAL fixing parts (NOT plastic as can be often seen on children's badges) Each badge comes individually contained within small poly-bag.
Condition: Mint condition. New manufacture and unused.
Description: These badges are NEAR-EXACT replicas of original 'button' badges from the suffrage movement. (Size differs on purpose).
NB: To avoid the potential falseful representation of these badges as GENUINE originals, they have been manufactured-very purposefully-at a reduced size from the original sizes of 35mm, to a smaller size of 25mm. Of course, other means of detecting originals from modern reproductions exist, but we are minded that these badges must NOT be passed as originals and hence our making them obviously (to collectors of such originals) smaller replicas. Please bear this in mind when purchasing...the badges are 25mm (1 inch) in diameter and NOT the same size as the originals (35mm). Thus they are SMALLER than the originals, we hope that is totally clear.
On Ebay recently, originals of these badges sold for:
Top left (WSPU-Votes for women) : At £410 GBP, it failed to meet the sellers reserve.
Top right (Actresses Franchise League) : At £818.00 it SOLD.
Bottom centre (WSPU Emblem) : At £827.00 it SOLD.
The badges will be sent in a padded envelope, each of the badges contained within its own poly self-sealing bag.
Please note that the badges are crystal clear and do NOT suffer from the pixelation/degradation that the photo does
